Mauli Ola Foundation came to Malibu on September 24th to teach Cystic Fibrosis children how to surf and I was not going to miss this event...

Owen Wright defeated ten time world champ Kelly Slater to Win Quiksilver Pro New York & $300,000 to make this a historic event in pro surfing.

$300,000 Dollars is the largest purse ever for a Pro Surfing Contest...

The beach was full of spectators during the final and huge roars could be heard mile away...

Long Island New York City going off thanks to a swell that was caused by Hurricane Katia

Hurricane Katia really delivered at the perfect time to send waves to New York, as you can see here Katia was heading directly at NY and moving at a slow pace to enable the waves to reach the coast before she made landfall. I hope no one was seriously hurt. RM

South Swell Rocks California "Biggest Surf in 10 years"

It all started down under with a low pressure that ended up slamming Tahiti Saturday, August 27 with one of the most mental tow sessions ever that was broadcasted live all over the globe thanks to Billabong Pro & ASP. The swell was so strong that it charged threw the pacific and delivered 8-10 waves in Hawaii, finally hitting California on Wednesday Aug 31. I surfed five days in a row with the biggest day being about 6+ Hawaiian thursday mid afternoon...
