Eddie Aikau Ceremony Dec 2, 2010

In Aikau's honor, Quiksilver sponsors the “The Eddie” Quiksilver Big Wave Invitational in Memory of Eddie Aikau at Waimea Bay. The tournament has only been held eight times, due to a precondition that open-ocean swells reach a minimum of 20 feet Hawaiian. 

Every year the since the summer of 1978 the Aikau Ohana brings fresh flowers and decorates the Memorial.

Andy Irons Forever. November 14, 2010 Kauai

Philip Andrew Irons "Andy Irons" was Hawaii's #1. From early days surfing HASA, Hawaii Amateur Surfing Association, the WQS, Would Qualifying Series to the Dream Tour A.I. was unstoppable. From a friend to a idle Andy was just about the most outgoing friendly person ever. His love for the ocean and his ability to surf in every type of condition made him one of the most talented surfers. Here are some photos from Kauai.
