Dave Stein and I arrived to Peʻahi on "Rhonda" the Honda Aquatrax at just about sunrise *7AM* and to no surprise Ian Walsh, Mark Healy, Greg Long, Danilo Cauto,Yuri Soledade, Marcio Freire and others were sitting in the lineup on surfboards! The surf was in the 10-12 Hawaiian "16-25 Faces" with some bigger sets throughout the day. Not to mention I had the flu but could not pass up another session at Peʻahi.
Iʻm calling this one of the Top rides of the Day, Maui Boy Ian Walsh Charging!

Now thats determination! Ian got held down for a wile on this wave, but with plenty of mental & physical preparation Ian is ready for just about any situation.
Without flotation vests itʻs another realm out there! I think that these guys deserve a big applause.

Final Thoughts & Words> Rule #1 when it comes to Surfing & Priority, Paddle Surfers Have Priority Over Tow Surfers. I hope that next year I get the funding so that I could be out there paddle surfing. Aloha RM
